Kindess is hidden
I remember yesterday I finally made it out to one the few eateries that is open and ordered sandwiches for my family.
The woman before seemed nice but when she got her bill she started raising her voice to the poor woman at the counter for not telling her that fries were extra money. After she explained she did let her know it was apparent then she didn't have the money for them. The look on her face was exhausting and I saw a desperation that look like she was ready to cry. Just then the man 6 feet in back of her signaled to the counter lady he would cover her total meal and not to tell her.
The lady at the counter was cool about it and said she don't worry about it here's your receipt and meal. Well how much do I have to pay the distraught lady asked. The counter lady said it's been taken care of don't worry. Surprisingly the Lady didn't say another word and left the eatery. i heard a chuckle from the kindness guy and the counter lady. It was all I needed to see how this one act could bright my day on humanity.
